History: She got into the Roofer business at a young age. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mara took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vapula grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Her hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Avice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
