History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Giselle was taken on many hunting expeditions. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Giselle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. The war was a terrible time for her, and Bryseis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Bryseis was born with her mother's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: Dentratha was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
