When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Zaffrab abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.
