History: Megren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Verna hails from a village terrorized by giants. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Verna began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Verna was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
