He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mastema fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
