Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Hamil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Scribe but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hugolina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Windy hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
