She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahlyssa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahlyssa. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
