Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tagga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
