Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'0". He wears red leather gloves, a red jacket, and tight pants, and his gloved hand is found clutching a trident. His hair is long and white with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: Standing 5'7", this woman wears violet trousers with black and pastel striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 41. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is auburn and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Adran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adran. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sellsword. His copper crest is greasy and uncared for. His fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he's repulsed by the pc
