History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tordek grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Butcher soon after.

History: Rosalind was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Bricklayer and found it very stressful. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Naal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
