Personality: Callie hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. The war was a terrible time for her, and Callie does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Knight arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kilvar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Elama lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult
