History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Mamnen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Zook wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zook was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
