When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
