History: Zook was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Quick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gormogord hails from a village terrorized by drow. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
