History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Azdûsh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Azdûsh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Azdûsh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Elysande was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Beatrice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.
