History: Raiann was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father.
