History: Umpen was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Umpen was a troubled youth. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: Oppah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Tailor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
