History: Born to a Shipwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mara embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ulfgar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
