Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hand crossbow with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She has a dull look in her green eyes.
Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Portia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Architect, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and regain custody of her son

Description: He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with brown slacks. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his ceremonial dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has golden hair. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson brown hat.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Mayor mother left him crippled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: He is a Lamia in disguise. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she wants to get laid

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She is portly but not overly obese. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 22. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
