Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Zook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Liftrasa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Liftrasa lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is content; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Trail was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
