History: Hethress was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Burana hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and many drow want her driven away

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Erky embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pyra grew up listening to her father's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
