History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Pyntle hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Pyntle was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
