History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
