History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Ulla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to protect her home

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nikki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Beggar, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Chay was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Chay's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
