When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Barber job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
