Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Avelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Whurdred and her spouse have recently divorced.
