History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Maagog and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Grai hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Grai has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
