History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Cory and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Cory discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kriv was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miner. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kriv never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
