History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Volen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
