Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Rurik is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Rurik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She became a Ruler soon after.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
