In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Pyra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bellfounder responsibilities is difficult.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
