History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Barakas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
