History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Rezena never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dustin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dustin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
