Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Melissa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gaaki grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gaaki. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.
