She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She is a Maurezhi in disguise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Althaea grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Althaea. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Bryseis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
