History: Donaar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Shautha was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shautha's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shautha fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gillyd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Joser isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Joser was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
