History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shadow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shadow. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Quespa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Bree was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bree's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
