History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Sweet learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently the stress of being a Mason has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.
