History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Meena's homeland. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naeris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
