History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he's repulsed by the pc

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she feels kind of lost in life

More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
