History: Gesrethe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her first spouse was a Armorer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Armorer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Syllin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
