Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Volen took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Merchant for the past few years.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Bryseis reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
