History: She was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Verin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Verin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
