Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her chestnut hair is thinning but still full. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Bethrynna is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family.

Description: This northern woman is renowned for her bright violet dresses and hats. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small violet clips. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born in the north. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. She wears a colorful flower in her purple hair. Her black eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is typically in his Stylist uniform, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stylist. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His crest is black and curly. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
