History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Arara will drive conversation. She is an amazing painter.

History: Arara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to unite with her brother

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Portia studied abroad. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Being a Bounty Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
