History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Valanthe was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Valanthe's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in the south to a Farmer, Jade learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with her Shipwright father left her crippled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
