History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Maiathah's homeland. Maiathah decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
