History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gale was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he's looking for his big break

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Helgret and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with grey slacks. Her silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vani embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She got into the Carter business at a young age. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: This malnourished woman wears green trousers with grey and white striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her red crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
