Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Bertram was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Farmer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the east to a Farmer, Volen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
