History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Murgen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Murgen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Murgen. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Barendd's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barendd grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
